Complete this form and pay your $26.00 transfer fee online. A printable receipt will be emailed instantly. Please bring the receipt, your FOID, and a government-issued photo ID when you come to pick up your firearm at our Aurora, IL location.

Law Weapons Official FFL Transfer Policy & Shipping Requirements

To maintain our competitive transfer pricing and ensure full compliance with federal and state regulations, Law Weapons requires strict adherence to the following protocols.

1.Credential Verification Policy

  • FFL Holders: Please email a copy of your license to info@lawweapons.org. We will respond with a copy of our FFL for your records.
  • Private Sellers: In accordance with industry security standards and federal guidelines, we do not provide copies of our FFL to non-licensees. To verify our license, please use the ATF FFL eZ Check website.

The ATF eZ Check tool confirms our status as a valid, active license holder.

2.Mandatory Shipping Checklist

Every shipment must include the following documentation inside the box. No exceptions.

  • Buyer Information: Full name and contact phone number.
  • Sender Identification — Licensees: A legible copy of your FFL.
  • Sender Identification — Private Sellers: A clear copy of your valid State-Issued Photo ID / Driver's License.
Non-Compliance Notice: Our low transfer fees are based on a streamlined processing flow. Shipments received without the required documentation are subject to immediate refusal or a mandatory $100 Administrative Processing Fee.

3.Processing & Pickup Protocol

Please be advised that we process a high volume of inventory daily.

  • Wait for Notification: A "Delivered" status from your shipping carrier does not mean the firearm is ready for pickup. It must be unboxed, inspected, and legally logged into our system.
  • Do Not Call for Status: We will contact the buyer as soon as the firearm is ready for transfer. To maintain efficiency, please do not call for status updates based on carrier tracking info.

4.Liability & Right of Refusal

Law Weapons reserves the right to refuse any shipment that lacks proper documentation or violates federal, state, or local laws. Law Weapons assumes no responsibility for items shipped without the required identification or for delays caused by sender negligence.

  • • Transfer fees are valid for 30 days from payment.
  • • Shipments without required sender ID may incur a $100 administrative fee or be refused.
  • • Storage fees during a background-check appeal: $2.00/day per firearm.
  • • All firearms on one form must be picked up together. Multiple sellers require a separate form per seller.

Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy
  • The Buyer is the person or entity completing this form and/or the transferee of the firearm or product. (Hereinafter BUYER)
  • The seller is the Shipper / Owner / FFL / Dealer / Provider of the firearm (Hereinafter SELLER)
  • The service provider is Law Weapons & Supply, its officers, directors, employees, agents, independent contractors, affiliates and shareholders (Hereinafter LWS)
  • The transferring Product / Firearm / Receiver / Gun / Pistol / Revolver / Rifle / Shotgun / Other is considered (Hereinafter FIREARM)

It is the BUYER responsibility to know their own legal status. In the event a background check is denied, or for any other reason, the transfer fee is non-refundable. BUYER will pay all fees/costs to return the firearm to the SELLER or to store the FIREARM. Fees/costs include but are not limited to shipping, packaging, administrative, labor, legal fees.

If appealing the denial of background check, storage fees for each FIREARM will be at a rate of $2.00 per day. Transfer fees are valid for 30 DAYS ONLY from submission of this form. LWS has no control over SELLER and is not affiliated in any way. Any damage, missing parts, delays, or any other issues are between the BUYER and SELLER.

BUYER hereby agrees to indemnify and hold LWS harmless from all liabilities, damages, business interruptions, delays, losses, claims, judgments of any kind whatsoever, including, all costs, attorneys' fees, and expenses incidental thereto, which may be suffered by, or charged to LWS related to the transfer for BUYER and its Affiliates. LWS shall have the sole right to select its legal representation and other advisors for matters related to this transfer service provided to BUYER which shall be paid solely by BUYER. By continuing to complete this form and/or transfer BUYER agrees to be bound by the Terms above and the Privacy Policy of LWS located https://lawweapons.org/privacy-policy/
